The Higher Education Commission (HEC) invites applications from Pakistani/AJ&K nationals for the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Programme (2023-24), launched by the Hungarian Government for Bachelor’s, Master’s, One-Tier Master’s, and Ph.D. studies.
Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Programme: SCHOLARSHIP TYPES
Pakistani students fulfilling basic eligibility criteria in specified disciplines and other requirements of Hungarian universities under the following programs:
- Bachelor’s Degree (after 12 years of education)
- One-Tier Master’s Degree (after 12 years of education)
- Master’s Degree (after 16 years of education)
- Ph.D. Degree (after 17/18 years of education)
Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Programme ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- درخواست دہندہ کا پاکستان/AJ&K کا شہری ہونا ضروری ہے۔
- اپنے موجودہ مطالعاتی پروگراموں/ڈگریوں کے آخری سال میں داخلہ لینے والے درخواست دہندگان اور نتائج کے منتظر امیدواروں کو درخواست دینے کی اجازت ہے۔
- اسکالرشپ کے لیے کم از کم عمر کا معیار 18 سال ہے اور اہل درخواست دہندگان وہ ہیں جو 01 ستمبر 2005 سے پہلے پیدا ہوئے ہوں
- بیچلرز (انڈر گریجویٹ پروگرامز) اور ون ٹائر ماسٹر ڈگری پروگرامز یعنی DVM، DPharm، میڈیسن/ دندان سازی وغیرہ کے لیے، درخواست دہندہ نے 01 اگست 2023 سے پہلے HSSC/انٹرمیڈیٹ یا اس کے مساوی مکمل کر لیا ہو۔ حتمی ڈگری جمع کرانے میں ناکامی کی صورت میں اور 01 اگست 2023 سے پہلے https://apply.stipendiumhungaricum.hu/ پورٹل پر ٹرانسکرپٹ، امیدواری منسوخ کر دی جائے گی۔
- ماسٹرز (پوسٹ گریجویٹ پروگرام) کے لیے، درخواست دہندہ نے 01 اگست 2023 سے پہلے بیچلر/یا مساوی ڈگری کے 16 سال مکمل کیے ہوں۔ حتمی ڈگری اور ٹرانسکرپٹ جمع کرانے میں ناکامی کی صورت میں https://apply.stipendiumhungaricum.hu/ پر 01 اگست 2023 کو امیدواری منسوخ کر دی جائے گی۔
- پی ایچ ڈی کے لیے۔ پروگرامز، درخواست دہندگان کو 01 اگست 2023 سے پہلے ماسٹر/MS/MPhil ڈگری/یا اس کے مساوی کے 17/18 سال مکمل کر لیے ہوں گے۔ حتمی ڈگری اور ٹرانسکرپٹ جمع کرانے میں ناکامی کی صورت میں 01، 2023، امیدواری منسوخ کر دی جائے گی۔
- درخواست دہندہ کو ہنگری کے درخواست فارم اور HEC درخواست فارم کے تمام فیلڈز کو پُر کرنا چاہیے اور کوئی کالم یا فیلڈ خالی نہیں چھوڑنا چاہیے۔
- سرٹیفکیٹ/ٹرانسکرپٹس/ڈگریز جو منسلک کیے جائیں ان کی تصدیق کرنے والے حکام جیسے کہ IBCC اور HEC سے تصدیق ہونی چاہیے۔ بیچلرز (انڈر گریجویٹ پروگرامز) اور ایک درجے کی ماسٹر ڈگریوں (OTM) کے لیے IBCC سے O & A لیول کا مساوی ہونا لازمی ہے۔
- IELTS/TOEFL اسکور حسب ضرورت، جہاں ہنگری کی طرف سے لاگو ہو۔
- تمام درخواست دہندگان کو صحت کی تسلی بخش حالت کا میڈیکل سرٹیفکیٹ جمع کرانا ہوگا (15 نومبر 2022 سے پہلے جاری نہیں کیا گیا، یہ ثابت کرنے کے لیے کہ درخواست دہندہ کو درج ذیل بیماریاں نہیں ہیں: AIDS، Hepatitis A, B, C، یا کوئی اور۔ وبائی حالات)
- حتمی انتخاب کی صورت میں، درخواست دہندگان کو قانونی کاغذ پر ایک بانڈ ایچ ای سی کو جمع کرانا ہوگا کہ وہ اسکالرشپ کے حتمی ایوارڈ کے بعد نظم و ضبط میں کوئی تبدیلی نہیں کرے گا، اور اپنی ڈگری مکمل کرنے کے فوراً بعد، وہ واپس آ جائے گا۔ پاکستان HEC کی طرف سے مقرر کردہ مدت کے لیے ملک کی خدمت کرے گا۔ ایسا کرنے میں ناکامی کی صورت میں، HEC امیدوار یا اس کے ضامن سے وصولی کا حق محفوظ رکھتا ہے، جرمانے کی رقم HEC کی طرف سے تجویز کردہ/فیصلہ کے مطابق۔
- درخواست دہندگان کو میزبان ہنگری یونیورسٹی/ٹیمپس پبلک فاؤنڈیشن/ہائر ایجوکیشن کمیشن آف پاکستان کی طرف سے مقرر کردہ دیگر تمام تقاضوں کو پورا کرنا چاہیے۔
- تمام درخواست دہندگان کو USAT (انڈر گریجویٹ) یا HAT (ماسٹر/ایم فل/پی ایچ ڈی) ٹیسٹ کے اسکور فراہم کرنے کی ضرورت ہے۔ درخواست دہندہ نے USAT یا HAT ٹیسٹ میں 100 میں سے کم از کم 50 اسکور حاصل کیے ہوں۔ وہ درخواست دہندگان جنہوں نے 01 جنوری 2022 کو یا اس کے بعد USAT یا HAT ٹیسٹ دیا ہے، غور کے لیے HEC پورٹل پر ٹیسٹ کا نتیجہ اپ لوڈ کر سکتے ہیں۔ درخواست دہندگان کو مطلع کیا جاتا ہے کہ HAT انڈرگریجویٹ زمرہ جات کے پچھلے اسکور یعنی HAT-UG-M, HAT-UG-E, HAT-UG-G، اسکالرشپ کے لیے قابل اطلاق نہیں ہیں۔ کم از کم USAT یا HAT ٹیسٹ سکور (100 میں سے 50) فراہم کیے بغیر، مزید کارروائی کے لیے درخواستوں پر غور نہیں کیا جائے گا۔ دلچسپی رکھنے والے درخواست دہندگان جنہوں نے ابھی تک USAT یا HAT ٹیسٹ نہیں دیا ہے، وہ اس کے لیے https://etc.hec.gov.pk/ پر جا کر رجسٹر ہو سکتے ہیں۔
Applicant must be a citizen of Pakistan/AJ&K.
Applicants enrolled in the last year of their existing study programs/degrees and result awaiting candidates are allowed to apply.
The minimum age criteria for the scholarship is 18 years and the eligible applicants are those born before 01 September 2005
For Bachelor’s (Undergraduate Programs) and One-Tier Master’s degree programs i.e. DVM, DPharm, Medicine/Dentistry, etc., the applicant must have completed HSSC/Intermediate or equivalent before August 01, 2023. In case of failure to submit of final degree and transcript on https://apply.stipendiumhungaricum.hu/ portal before August 01, 2023, the candidature will be canceled.
For a Master’s (Postgraduate Program), the applicant must have completed 16 years of Bachelor/or equivalent degree before August 01, 2023.
In case of failure to submit of final degree and transcript on https://apply.stipendiumhungaricum.hu/ before August 01, 2023, the candidature will be canceled.
For Ph.D. Programs, Applicants must have completed 17/18 years of Master/MS/MPhil degree/or equivalent before August 01, 2023. In case of failure to submit of final degree and transcript on https://apply.stipendiumhungaricum.hu/ before August 01, 2023, the candidature will be canceled.
The applicant must fill in all the fields of the Hungary application form and HEC application form and no column or field should be left unfilled.
Certificates/Transcripts/Degrees to be attached must be attested by the attesting authorities such as IBCC and HEC. Equivalence of O & A level from IBCC is mandatory for Bachelor’s (Undergraduate Programs) and One-Tier Master’s degrees (OTM).
IELTS/TOEFL scores as required, where applicable by the Hungarian side.
All applicants must submit a medical certificate of satisfactory health condition (issued not earlier than 15 November 2022, and a written certificate from a physician to prove that the applicant does not have the following illnesses:
AIDS, Hepatitis A, B, C, or any other epidemic conditions)
In case of final selection, applicants will have to submit a bond on legal paper to HEC that he/she will not change discipline after the final award of scholarship, and immediately after completion of his/her degree, he/she will return to Pakistan to serve the country for a period as prescribed by the HEC. In case of failure to do so, HEC reserves the right to recover from the candidate or his/her guarantor, a penalty amount as prescribed/decided by the HEC.
Applicants must fulfill all other requirements set by the host Hungarian university/Tempus Public Foundation/Higher Education Commission of Pakistan.
All applicants are required to provide USAT (Undergraduate) or HAT (Master/M.Phill/Ph.D.) test scores. Applicant must have obtained a minimum score of 50 out of 100 in USAT or HAT test. Those applicants who have taken USAT or HAT test on or after January 01, 2022, may upload the test result on the HEC portal for consideration. Applicants are informed that previous scores of HAT Undergraduate categories i.e. HAT-UG-M, HAT-UG-E, HAT-UG-G, are not applicable for the scholarship.
Without providing a minimum USAT or HAT test score (50 out of 100), applications will not be considered for further processing. Interested applicants who are yet to take USAT or HAT test, may register for the same by visiting https://etc.hec.gov.pk/.
HOW TO APPLY For Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Programme
- All of the following documents are compulsory and need to be submitted to the online Stipendium Hungaricum application system by all applicants until 16 January 2023 at 1600 hours, except for the Statement of the Supervisor (if required by the proposed Doctoral School, which must be submitted until 15 March 2023 and the medical certificate which must be submitted by the nominated applicants only until 15 April 2023 on Hungarian portal. Please note that only files with a maximum size of 4 MB can be uploaded into the system).
- Potential applicants enrolled in their existing study programs and waiting result candidates are allowed to apply for subject submission of final degrees and transcripts
- on https://stipendiumhungaricum.hu/apply/ before August 01, 2023. In case of failure to submit of required documents as per the prescribed requirement, the candidature of an applicant may be canceled.
