HEC Announces National Innovation Award 2023, The Higher Education Commission, Government of Pakistan, Islamabad has issued the latest notification on 30th December 2022 in connection with the implementation of HEC Revised Teacher Education RoadMap 2023. HEC News 2023.
The letter was issued by the Office of the Deputy Director (Curriculum).
The higher Education Commission (HEC) has announced National Innovation Award under the federal government’s flagship initiative, Prime Minister (PM) Youth Program.
Under the program, the country’s youth will be granted financial support in order to help them in transforming their ideas into sustainable businesses. The initiative is aimed at enhancing Pakistan’s position in the Global Innovation Index (GII).

graduates having sixteen years of non-relevant qualification desirous to acquire admission in MS/MPhil Education shall be required to complete deficiency courses of a minimum of 18 credit hours as part of the said degree program as determined by the admitting university on a case-to-case basis.

Development and review of academic standards at the undergraduate and graduate levels are one of the major functions of the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
In line with recommendations of the National Curriculum Review Committee in the discipline of ‘Education’, the Teacher Education Roadmap has been revised and forwarded for implementation, please.
The same has been conveyed to the heads of all public and private sector universities as well as degree-awarding institutes through an official letter.
